Hired originally as a junior web designer to create flash-based advertisements to be displayed on the website and TV screens within stores. As time progressed, I was able to contribute to designing multiple sale, device campaigns and competition pages.

The majority of my tasks was translating printed in-store ads into a multitude of banners in various sizes to be displayed on desktop and mobile.

Alongside banner creation, seasonal sale pages, promotions, campaigns and competition pages on phones and tablets would need to be designed.

With the company promoting multiple networks and manufacturers, there was opportunity to increase revenue streams through allowing for takeovers and providing micro sites, marketing campaigns and product pages.
This gave our team the opportunity to work on multiple brands, capturing briefs, engaging with stakeholders, and internal and external clients for sign off. Also adhering to strict brand guidelines and operating within short deadlines.

We worked closely with web analytics and the UX team to identify what drives performance. Analysing data from our users and providing a variety of solutions from a design perspective to convert customers, increase page dwell time, click-throughs and decrease bounce rate e.g. call to action arrangement, additional product pages, visual style changes.

Other duties included overseeing designs from concept to development, product resizing and contributing to the yearly business-critical campaigns of iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S series.
Lastly having to implement the periodic brand refreshes and adapting designs accordingly.
