Working on different brands.

Through white label solutions, the task for me was to create and modify Encore’s ticket search and purchasing journeys and translate them so that they were in line with London Theatre’s and Lastminute.com’s brand guidelines.

COLLABORATE

Working with the UX manager and Head of Digital, I was given a walk-through of journey via wireframes provided by an agency.

After absorbing the digital guidelines of each of the brands, I had to decide how best to design the widgets, pages and journeys in a way that altering fonts, styles and colours could be easily interchangeable for almost any brand.

03

WORK

I then created high-fidelity mock-ups covering full journeys and micro interactions. It was critical that these designs be versatile and accommodate as many different touch-points such as desktop, mobile and tablet in their respective portrait and landscape orientations.

04

REVIEW

There were daily design reviews to receive feedback and raise concerns or challenges. Also discussions around further optimising or altering designs to solve specific business, user problems and needs.

I continuously cross-examined designs to see if the templates could work in their respective brands, and whether or not maintaining conventions could or should dictate an alteration or remain exclusive.

DELIVERING

This would eventually be given over to the development team in India for build. Templates with instructions on layout, spacing, style, behaviour and interaction would be conveyed.

This allowed the developers to ask questions and advise how they prefer I export assets.
