Working with Tepilo.
Hired as a UI designer to work on a responsive web app designed for people buying and selling property. All parts of the sales process could be centrally handled by the online tool, empowering users to have all information at hand, while at home or on the go.

Designing the web app.
The task was to provide a platform where users can be confident handling the sale of their property being done predominately online, from arranging photoshoots and house viewings to accepting or declining offers. The user would have full visibility on the development of the sales process all from their desktop, tablet or phone.

Foundation
With a light foundational brand already provided, also the sister company as a reference / template, there was space for exploration and improvement. I reviewed and reworked the layout, grid system, fonts, and iconography so a more balanced visual identity could be established.

PROTOTYPING
One of the main areas of focus for the business was attracting users to the platform through the property evaluation process.
Interactive prototype done in Principle
A large series of questions, (such as property location and number of amenities) needed to be presented in engaging (gamifying) fashion. I was asked to explore ways this process could be presented via prototypes.
The goal was to get users quickly through the set number of questions to receive the calculated value of their property, Teplio’s USPs and price of service.

OPTIMISING
With the selling process taking many weeks, it was thought the user would engage with the web app intermittently in small bursts to solve specific inquiries, therefore it was essential that after login, the user knew instantly which stage of the process they were in.
I worked closely with UX and explored intuitive ways to optimise the UI for space and hierarchy.

WORKFLOW
Taking wireframes set by the UX designer and translating them into high-fidelity mock-ups. Designing screens in a rapid iterative fashion covering full interaction journeys e.g property listing, settings, chat feature & property landing pages. I then provided the developer components in Zeplin in all interaction states.
